Planimetric Map

This is an example of a planimetric map of the city of Baltimore in a series of maps from 1977-1989.  It is a good example of a planimetric map because it is in a two-dimensional form and does not show an sort of relief.

This is a good example of a mental map.  This map specifically shows information about different ideas to try to keep a healthy lifestyle and the different factors that are involved.  A mental map is used to put together ideas and this map does that well in the area of health.

An example of a dot map (Using world population density)

This is a good example of a dot map that show the population density of the world because it shows the spatial pattern of population density by placing dots in certain areas and they are much more concentrated in places with high population density.
